There’s no shortage of people writing restaurant reviews for London’s top eateries, nor is there a shortage of sushi critics. But with so many reviews, opinions, ratings and tweets it’s often hard to get a consensus; as far as we know, no single reviewer has covered every restaurant that provides sushi in London.

So we thought we’d make it easy for you by reading all the latest London sushi reviews and finding out where you can safely get the best sushi in London.

  1. sushi tetsu - japanese restaurant in LondonSushi Tetsu (Clerkenwell)
    Dinings (Marylebone)

Joint top with no less than 5 appearances a piece in London’s best sushi reviews are Marylebone stalwart, Dinings, and our Clerkenwell neighbours, Sushi Tetsu.
Dinings has been established in London since 2009 and has topped the Zagat ratings for the past 5 years. Sushi Tetsu on the other hand is famed for its omakase (chef’s menu) and the prawn nigiri is not to be missed.

  2. atari ya sushi restaurant in londonAtari Ya (Ealing)
    Roka (Mayfair)
    Nobu (Old Park Lane)

These well known sushi restaurants appeared in half of the eight ‘top sushi eateries in London’ reviews that we looked at – the names speak for themselves here.

The following seven restaurants all made two appearances in the ‘best sushi restaurant’ reviews we looked at, but we’d recommend trying out the seven above first.

Yashin Sushi (Kensington)
Sake No Hana (St James’)
Sumosan (Mayfair)
Rockstar (Colliers Wood)
Zuma (Knightsbridge)
